Happy Late X-Mas
I'm really tired, and I was going to go to bed after talking to Sarah, but I decided that I hadn't written here in forever. Plus, I never wrote a Christmas entry. I'm not really partial to Christmas, mostly because it's about money and presents now. I'm kinda glad it's over. Work will go back to normal, like it did last night (Yes, I had to work the night of Christmas). We only had 2 trucks, it was great. Plus, we finished early enough, so I could go stand in Sweetness' department and attempt to help her with her stuff. Mostly, I think I was just there to hang out with her. Anywho, I didn't really get much for Christmas. I wasn't expecting much either. My mother doesn't really have the money for all that, and I'm almost 20 years old. Plus, the whole lack of Christmas spirit thing. If I believed Christmas had a little bit of good stuff wrapped up in it now-a-days, I might have some spirit. Until then... So, I got one of those Italian Charm Braclets (with a few charms, nothing out of the ordinary), 2 pairs of slippers, leashables chapstick, barrel of monkeys, Sheryl Crow's CD, The Avenegers DVD, 28 Days Later DVD, a DVD/VHS player (which I hooked up myself), socks, a sweatshirt, and a few other little things. We all went to my Aunts house in Pismo Beach. The waves at the beach were over the pier and everything, that was cool. Then we took pictures, after the waves had stopped, on the pier. I think I'll eventually post those pictures under the pix link on the navigation bar. I'll let you know about that later. But, mostly, I bought presents for my sisters and mom. The present that I got for Kayla, that I wouldn't tell was an RC Hummer H2. You know, that big Radio Control (RC) Hummer. It's pretty cool. We havn't test driven it yet, but it makes cool sounds. Plus, we all got the game of Jumanji, which is alright, but I think I could have made it better. That and Candyland and Shoots and Ladders. I think that's about it. I'll maybe write an actual good entry tomorrow. I'm just slightly tired with the few hours I've slept this week. Plus, my days off at work are now Monday and Tuesday Nights, so I have to work an extra day this week, GRRRRRR! Well, tata. Hai Quote of the Day: "You want to look at the money? I find it always calms me."~Anya (BtVS) |
